How do you, strengthen the working relationship of your outside endeavors and the university to create vital contributions to the university’s research, teaching and economic development.   

This course will look at each employee’s responsibility to mitigate perceptions and activity that threaten the integrity of the University, to reduce the tension of activity that could harm the employee and/or the institution.   

Who should take this course:  

Every employee at the university is required to disclose prior to engaging in consulting, teaching, or overlapping business activities.  Some outside activities may improperly influence the conduct of an employee’s University Responsibilities if not managed appropriately.  Employees that process contracts, and grant funded transactions are the front line of oversite.
