Checking for customer existence

Log in

1. Visit PeopleSoft production
2. Second step

Navigate to the search page

1. Access the main menu
2. Select customers
3. Select customer information
4. Select general information

Enter the customer name

1. Enter the customer name into the name 1 field
2. Use the appropriate naming conventions for vendors and customers
   • ✓ Tip: You may narrow your search by entering more search criteria such as postal code for the invoice mailing address, or customer telephone number
3. If an appropriate customer address can be located, you may proceed to bill the customer
   • ✓ Tip: If a customer address cannot be located, see the section on requesting a new customer for instructions on creating a new customer

Requesting a new customer

Select the form

1. Open Microsoft Outlook
2. Access the Home menu
3. Select New items
4. Select More items
5. Select Choose form
6. Select the UM Customer Request form

Submit the form

1. Complete the form
   • ✓ Important: Information for new customers will be entered exactly as it has been listed on this form. Please double check information before submitting.
2. Send the form to the MU ACCTG ACCT REC email address

I mean, all I really need to do to make it that long is to just keep typing for a couple more sentences. This is another sentence, just to add a little more length. This is probably the last sample sentence that I'll write for testing.

• I’d like to keep the usage of charts pretty simple, doing a lot with custom data posts types and similar could be tricky
